Samantha Ann Russell Rose, 51, Roeland Park, Kansas, passed away Monday, February 26, 2024.
She was born July 17, 1972 in Beacon, New York to Roland and Janet (Reeve) Russell. She graduated in 1990 from Georgetown, Texas, High School, then earned a bachelor’s degree in history from Texas Christian University.
Samantha married Leslie Rose on March 15, 1997. He preceded her in death on October 18, 2009.
Samantha enjoyed reading and watching Netflix, and loved to travel, taking yearly special trips with her son. She also loved Mexican food.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Leslie; her parents; and beloved cat, Bop.
Survivors include her son, Russell Rose; stepsons, Adam and Cody Rose and their families; sister, Sara Anbari (Alan); nephew, Aren Anbari; several aunts, uncles and cousins; and her beloved cat, Squeak.
Graveside Farewell Services and Interment 1:00 P.M. Tuesday, Shaare Sholem Cemetery. The family will gather with friends 6:00 to 8:00 P.M. Monday, Meierhoffer Funeral Home & Crematory.
