ANDREW COUNTY—A Missouri man was injured in an accident and accused of DWI just before 5p.m. Saturday in Andrew County.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol reported a 2017 Jeep Wrangler driven by Steaven R. Ashlock, 54, Savannah was southbound from Route K to Southbound Interstate 29. The Jeep struck a guardrail end, crossed into the median, went airborne, traveled off the east side of the road and struck a tree.
Andrew County EMS transported Ashlock to Mosaic Life Care. He was arrested on requested charges of felony DWI-persistent offender, failure to maintain right half of the road when the road was sufficient width resulting in an accident, operating a motor vehicle in a carless and imprudent manner resulting in an accident, according to the MSHP.
