Phyllis June Hart 82, of St. Joseph, passed away Friday, April 19, 2024 at a local health care facility. She was born February 19, 1942 in St. Joseph, daughter of Virginia and Daniel Hart. She attended Benton High School. She worked at Bellas Hess and Noma Lites. Phyllis enjoyed crafting, painting, and playing bingo. She loved church and the Bible.
Phyllis was preceded in death by her parents, brother, Daniel Hart, and sister, Darlene Dye. Survivors include: sister, Patricia Thompson of St. Joseph, nephews, Gary Dye, Terry Dye, and Josh Thompson, nieces, Debbie Rhodes, Dana Thompson, and Rebekah Thompson, and several great-nieces and great-nephews.
Graveside Services and Interment will be 2:30 pm Friday, April 26, 2024 at Bellemont Cemetery in Wathena, KS. The family will receive friends from 1:00 to 2:00 p.m. on Friday at the Rupp Funeral Home. Memorials are requested to the American Cancer Society.
