NODAWAY COUNTY — One person was injured in an accident just after 7:30p.m. Friday in Nodaway County.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol reported a 2025 Chevy Trailblazer driven by 27-year-old Clarinda, Iowa man was westbound on U.S. 71 five miles north of Maryville. The SUV sruck a deer.
A private vehicle transported a passenger identified as a 25-year-old New Market, Iowa woman to Mosaic in Maryville. The SUV driver was not injured. Both were properly restrained, according to the MSHP. The Patrol no longer releases names of accident victims.
