Phyllis B. Moyers, 87, Warsaw, Missouri, formerly of Mound City, Missouri, passed away Tuesday, September 2, 2025.
She was born October 21, 1937 in Cold Springs, Missouri to Everett and Trieva (Southers) Pierce.
Phyllis married Thomas Eugene Moyers on October 19, 2021. He survives of the home.
She was a nurse’s aide for several nursing homes in the St. Joseph area.
Phyllis enjoyed her vegetable and flower gardens, crocheting, and watching Westerns on TV. She and Thomas loved to watch birds, especially hummingbirds and cardinals.
She was preceded in death by her parents; daughter, Dorothy Pulliam; and daughter-in—law, Lori Pulliam.
Survivors include her husband, Thomas; her children, Dona Phillips (Jerry), Wanda Schultz (Mike), Earl Pulliam, Terry Pulliam (Kellie), Anita Ezzell (Mintry), Kenny Pulliam (Mindy), Jo Ann Swindler (Larry), Rose Timothy (Ron), Jeff Moyers (Lori), and Clinton Moyers; numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren; siblings, Billy Gene, Donald and John Pierce; numerous nieces, nephews, other extended family and friends.
Farewell Services and Public Livestream 10:00 A.M. Friday, First Christian Church, Mound City. Interment Mount Hope Cemetery, Mound City, Missouri.
