Northwest Missouri State women's basketball falls to Emporia State Tuesday

The Northwest Missouri State women's basketball team fell to Emporia State 58-51 Tuesday night in Bearcat Arena in their first home game of 2021.

It was the first home game for the Bearcat women since Dec. 5.

The loss was the fourth straight for the Bearcats, who fall to 3-6 on the season. Jaelyn Haggard led NWMSU with 14 points, including four made three-pointers. Kylie Coleman and Molly Hartnet each scored eight.

Northwest is back in action on Thursday night in Maryville when they take on Central Oklahoma at 5:30 p.m.
