ATCHISON COUNTY—Law enforcement authorities are investigating a pair of Easter weekend break-ins at homes in Atchison.
One burglary occurred late Saturday or during the day Sunday at a residence in the 700 block North 2nd Street, according to Police Chief Mike Wilson.
Suspects took cash, a watch, air pods, a backpack with a laptop, a television, and a playstation. (total value around $1,800)
Police are also investigating a burglary that occurred at a residence in the 200 block East Mound that occurred sometime over the weekend. Nothing is believed to have been taken. Forced entry was made into both residences when residents were away, according to Wilson.
