SHAWNEE COUNTY —Law enforcement authorities are investigating a Sunday night shooting and asking the public for help to locate a suspect.

Just after 7 p.m. police responded to the 1900 block of NE Jefferson Street in Topeka on a report of a shooting involving known individuals, according to police department spokesperson Gretchen Spiker.

The victim sustained non-life threatening injuries in the incident and was treated at a local hospital.

Throughout the course of the investigation, 35-year-old Nicholas D. Price was identified as a person of nterest in this incident.  If you see Price or know where he is, call 911 immediately and do not attempt to apprehend him yourself.
