Richard Cholthok, 46, St. Joseph, Missouri, passed away Saturday, February 24, 2024.
He was born January 1, 1978 in Rumbek, South Sudan to Manuer and Agok (Doung) Cholthok.
Richard was a hardworking, honest man who would help anyone in need, especially if they needed computer help for work or school. He cared very deeply for his family and other people and often gave advice.
He also was a very sociable person, who easily made friends wherever he went. He was easygoing and loved to laugh and make others laugh with his jokes and sarcastic humor. He also enjoyed grilling.
Richard’s passing is a big loss to his family, who will honor and cherish his memory forever.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Survivors include his son, Nhial Manuel; his daughters, Nyidhal Manuel and Ayen Manuel; aunt, Assyia Madit; and cousin, Akuch Kuch.
