John William Munshaw 74, of Oregon, MO, passed away surrounded by his loving family on Sunday, June 11, 2023 in a Wathena, KS health care center. He was born August 16, 1948 in Seatle, WA, son of the late Ruby and Joseph Munshaw.
He graduated from South Nodaway High School, and he attended Northwest Missouri State University. He married Joyce Mortell on June 11, 1986, and she survives of the home. John worked at KC Carpenter Union as a Millrite. He enjoyed traveling, going to Yellowstone, camping, fishing, and hanging out with his family.
He was preceded in death by his parents and 3 grandchildren.
Survivors include: wife, Joyce Munshaw of the home, children: AmaDeo "Michael" (Minh) Nguyen, Boston, MA, Sierra Munshaw, Santa Rosa, CA, Jasen (Tracy) Miller, Jimmy Bunn, Jodi Gilbert all of St. Joseph, MO, Maggie (Ryan) Crawford, Kansas City, MO, 18 grandchildren, 1 great grandchild, brothers, Joe (Coke) Munshaw and Bob Munshaw, and 4 nephews.
Mr. Munshaw will be cremated under the care and direction of the Rupp Funeral Home.
