A 19-year-old St. Joseph man was injured after crashing his vehicle on St. Joseph Avenue while fleeing from Buchanan County deputies.
St. Joseph police report the man, identified as Marquis Wilson, couldn’t make a curve on St. Joseph Avenue, sheared through a utility pole, and crashed into a house near Madison Street. The car was partially wedged inside the house.
Wilson was alone in the car. Buchanan County deputies took him into custody after being treated for injuries at the Mosaic Life Care hospital in St. Joseph.
