Mary Ann West, 78, of St. Joseph, Missouri, passed away Sunday, November 2, 2025 in a St. Joseph, MO health care center. She was born January 7, 1947 in St. Joseph, MO, daughter of the late Thelma and Marion Ridpath. She graduated from Central High School class of 1965.
Mary was preceded in death by her parents, husband, James West, siblings: John Ridpath, Charles Ridpath, and Alice Leach, and son in law, Mike Fanning. Survivors include: daughter, Stacey Fanning of St. Joseph, MO, and a granddaughter, Desirae (Cody) Solotar.
The family will receive friends from 2-4:00 PM on Sunday at the Rupp Funeral Home. Funeral services and public live stream; 10:30 am, Monday, November 10, 2025 at the Rupp Funeral Home, Chaplain Dennis Jones officiating. The Interment will be at the Leavenworth National Cemetery at 12:30 pm Monday, November 10, 2025.
