ATCHISON COUNTY —One person was injured in an accident just after 2p.m. Tuesday in Atchison County.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol reported a 2000 Ford Explorer driven by a 20-year-old Tarkio man was southbound on U.S. 59 one quarter miles south of Tarkio. The SUV began to skid. The driver overcorrected and the vehicle returned to the road and then traveled off the west side road and rolled.
Atchison-Holt ambulance transported the driver to Fairfax Hospital. He was properly restrained, according to the MSHP. The Patrol no longer releases names of accident victims.
