Cynthia “Cindy” Rae Barmann (Warner) age 72, of Bella Vista, AR passed away on Friday, April 17, 2026 surrounded by her family and friends. Cindy was born on March 31, 1954 in St.Joseph, MO, the daughter of Gerald “Tike” & Marilyn Warner.
Cindy attended Central high school graduating in 1972. She worked at City Hall for 14 years.
She married the love of her life John Barmann on October 3, 1987. Cindy and John moved to Edmond & Tahlequah Oklahoma for 16 years before retiring in Bella Vista in 2023. Cindy could often be found soaking in the sunshine at the pool or on the boat at the lake with family and friends, sunshine and travels were something she enjoyed most. Her and John spent their winters in Texas so they could spend more time in the sunshine with fresh authentic tacos and a strawberry daiquiri.
Cindy leaves behind her husband John, of 38 years. Their beloved dachshund, Shorty, Sister, Diana Hagan (Mark) St. Joseph, MO, Brothers, Steve Warner (Anjanette) Kansas City, KS, & Mike Warner (Linda)Kansas City MO, Sister-in-law, Donna Barmann St. Joseph MO, Brother-in-law, John Sidenstucker , St. Joseph Mo, Stepson, Thomas Barmann (Mindy) Guthrie, OK; Stepdaughter Melissa Fry (Randy), Agency MO, many nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, grand children, and great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents. Sister, Mona Sidenstucker, Father in law, Joseph Barmann, & Mother in law, Betty Miller.
A celebration of life will be held Saturday, May 2, 2026 from 11-2 at Fairview Golf Course, 3302 Pacific St. St. Joseph MO, 64507.
