LIVINGSTON COUNTY—A Missouri man died from injuries in an accident that occurred late Sunday night in Livingston County.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol reported a 2007 Ford pickup driven by Steven L. Wilson, 33, Chillicothe, was northbound on Route JJ one and one half miles north of Avalon.
The pickup rear-ended a 2017 John Deere Gator driven by Charles L. Plummer, 75, Hale. The impact pushed the Gator into a pedestrian identified as Susan M. Bachman, 63, Chillicothe, who was in front of the Gator blowing leaves from the highway with leaf blower.
Chillicothe EMS transported both Plummer and Bachman to Hedrick Medical Center. Bachman was later airlifted to St. Lukes on the Plaza. Plummer was airlifted Liberty Hospital. On Monday afternoon, the Missouri State Highway Patrol reported his death. Wilson was not injured.
