NW Missouri woman hospitalized after 2-vehicle crash

CALDWELL COUNTY —A Missouri woman was injured in an accident just before 5p.m. Saturday in Caldwell County.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol reported a 2020 Chevy passenger vehicle driven by Rhea W. Rardon, 26, Polo, was southbound and a 2018 Jeep driven by Herman L. Funk, 78, Stanberry, was northbound on MO 13 at MO 116 in Polo.

As the Jeep attempted a left turn the Chevy attempted a right turn and struck the Jeep.

Caldwell County ambulance transported a passenger in the Jeep Sherry M. Funk, 77, Stanberry, to Cameron Regional Medical Center. The drivers were not injured. All three were properly restrained, according to the MSHP.
