NODAWAY COUNTY—One person was injured in an accident just after 8a.m. Tuesday in Nodaway County.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol reported a 2016 Ford Fusion driven by Lauren N. Black, 32, Maryville, was southbound on U.S. 71 two miles south of Maryville.
The car rear-ended the towed unit of a 2016 Chevy Silverado driven by Brenda K. Stiens, 60, Maryville, who had slowed to turn east onto 300 Street.
Nodaway County EMS transported Black to Mosaic in Maryville. Stiens was not injured. Both drivers were properly restrained, according to the MSHP.
