Bessie Lucille Frisbie 99, of St. Joseph, Missouri, peacefully passed away Monday, June 10, 2024 at Oakridge of Plattsburg in Plattburg, MO. Bessie was born March 31, 1925 in Smithville, MO to Emma and William Stubbs.
She graduated from Benton High School, and married George Frisbie on June 26, 1943. She was a homemaker who enjoyed gardening, listening to Elvis, putting puzzles together, and spending time with her family.
Bessie was preceded in death by husband, George Cleveland Frisbie, her parents, brothers, Robert, James Stubbs, Henry, and Frank Bressman, sisters, Bertha Hershley, Maxine Montgomery, Sarah Morris, son in law, Mike Bonnett, and granddaughter in law, Tina Bonnett.
Bessie is survived by daughters, Tina Engnes of Plattsburg, MO and Rhonda Bonnett of Stewartsville, MO, grandchildren, Kimberly (Mark) Plummer, Heath Bonnett, Tracy (Paul) Johnson, Meghan (Mike) Stufflebean, and Adam Engnes, great grandchildren; Jenna, Ashtin, Kendlle, Rylee, Shelby, Alex, Emily, Noah, Avery, Marin, Katie, AdamStephen, Angelina, and Kaylynn, and 12 great-great grandchildren.
The family will receive friends from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM on Monday at the Rupp Funeral Home. Funeral services and public live stream; 2:00 pm, Monday, June 17, 2024 at the Rupp Funeral Home, The Interment will be at the Memorial Park Cemetery.
