BUCHANAN COUNTY —One person was injured in an accident just before 9:30p.m. Wednesday in Buchanan County.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol reported a 2010 Chevy Suburban driven by a Fort Scott, Kansas woman was northbound on Interstate 29 two miles north of Dearborn. The SUV entered the construction zone and the driver became disoriented. The driver made an abrupt lane change from the. passing lane to the driving land. The vehicle continued onto the shoulder of the highway and rear-ended a 2018 Freighliner semi that was parked.
Buchanan County EMS transported the SUV driver to Mosic Life Care. She was properliy restrained, according to the MSHP.
