BUCHANAN COUNTY —Two people were injured in an accident just before 10a.m. Tuesday in Buchanan County.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol reported a 2008 Toyota Tundra driven by Diedre C. Jones, 50, St. Joseph, was northbound on Interstate 29 just south of U.S. 36.
The driver lost control on the ice covered road. The pickup traveled off the road, struck a ditch and overturned.
Buchanan County EMS transported Jones and a passenger Cathy S. Brown, 64, St. Joseph, to Mosaic Life Care. Both were properly restrained at the time of the accident, according to the MSHP.
