Myrna Goldston November 3, 1946-April 24, 2025

Myrna June (Daniel) Goldston was born on November 3, 1946, and entered into eternal life on April 24, 2025. She was born in Fayetteville, AR to Junior Ray (JR) and Ramona Daniel. Myrna was the oldest of four children, and they moved to the Olathe and Overland Park, KS area in 1954 where she graduated from Shawnee Mission West High School in 1965.

     Myrna attended Oklahoma Christian College and then moved to Tulsa to work for Shell Oil. She married James (Jim) Goldston, and they lived abroad in Italy and England for three years while Jim was in the Air Force before moving to Oklahoma City. They had two children, Amy Goldston and Tara Goldston Marcoux, who Myrna raised in Oklahoma City after their divorce. 

     Myrna lived her life devoted to her children, grandchildren, family, friends, and her faith. Myrna impacted countless children and families with her love and care over the years in her home daycare. She literally never met a stranger, and her kindness and warm smile welcomed everyone she met. She will forever be remembered for her faith in the Lord, her sweetness, friendliness, and devotion to her family and friends. She recently made her home with her sister Meredith Daniel in Overland Park, KS and was a member of the Lenexa Church of Christ.

     Myrna was the proudest mother and grandmother, and those roles gave her the greatest joy and happiness. Myrna was preceded in death by her parents, Junior Ray (JR) and Ramona Daniel. Myrna is survived by her children Amy Goldston, Tara Goldston Marcoux and husband Paul; her grandchildren Alexander Marcoux, Emma Marcoux and Ellie Goldston; her siblings Meredith Daniel, Merlynn Ferguson and husband David, Vaughan Daniel and wife Kathy; and many nieces, nephews and extended family that she loved very much.

     A Memorial Service will be held at 10:00 a.m., Tuesday, May 27 at the Lenexa Church of Christ, 7845 Cottonwood Dr., Lenexa, KS 66216. Graveside Service and Burial will be held at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, May 27 at Oak Ridge Cemetery, Pattonsburg, MO under the direction of Roberson Funeral Home, Pattonsburg, MO.
