Clara Lile passed away on Tuesday, May 21, 2024, in St. Joseph, Missouri.
She was born in New Boston, Missouri, in 1932, and moved to St. Joseph in 1939. She graduated from Central High School in 1949 and attended Gard Business University.
She worked at Big Smith Manufacturing until 1955. Then she worked for Noma Lites, both in St. Joseph and New York City until 1962, when she went to work for Sheridan-Clayton Paper Company. In 1968, she started with Armour Credit Union (the name changed to Railway Mail Credit Union and then 1st Star Credit Union) for a total of 32 years with the credit union.
Clara was an active member of Central Christian Church since 1971.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Leonard and Ellen Lile; and her brother, Wesley D. Lile.
Survivors include her brother, Darrell E. Lile of Milwaukee, Wisconsin; and several nieces and nephews.
