BUCHANAN COUNTY —A St. Joseph woman was injured in an accident just after 6p.m. Saturday in Buchanan County.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol reported a 2002 Mercury Sable driven by Kelly Y. Palmer, 57, St. Joseph, was westbound on U.S. 36 five miles west of St. Joseph.
The car traveled off the south side of the road and then off the north side of the road. The car's driver rear tire then struck an embankment.
Buchanan County EMS transported Palmer to Mosaic Life Care. The MSHP did not report seat belt usage details.
