Barbara Ann Easthouse, 61, of Oskaloosa, KS formerly of Lawrence, KS, died on Wednesday, April 10, 2024, at the Heritage Gardens in Oskaloosa, KS.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 am on Tuesday, April 16, 2024, at the St. Joseph Church, Nortonville with Fr. William Dun-Dery as Celebrant. Burial will be at 3:00 PM at the Lawrence Memorial Cemetery, 1517 E 15th St. Lawrence KS. The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 PM Monday, April 15, 2024, at the O’Trimble Funeral Home, Nortonville, KS. Barbara Ann Weishaar was born on July 28th, 1962, in Winchester, KS., the daughter of Kenneth and Mary Ann (Uhler) Weishaar. She graduated from Jefferson County North High School in 1980 and attended the Clarke Business School. Barbara worked as a supervisor at the Maximus Call Center in Lawrence KS. She was a member of the St. Joseph Catholic Church, Nortonville, KS., and enjoyed college basketball, especially March Madness. Barbara was best known for her chocolate chip cookies that everyone loved.
She was married to Daniel Easthouse on April 30, 1983. Mr. Easthouse preceded her in death on April 11, 2008. Survivors include three sons Kenneth Easthouse, Manchester NH, Benjamin Easthouse, and David Easthouse both of Lawrence, KS. Her parents, Kenneth and Mary Ann Weishaar, Nortonville, KS., four sisters Deanie and Marvin Keehn, Holton, KS., Donna and Steve Noll, Nortonville, KS., Sandra and Donnie Sommers, Great Bend, KS., and Jennifer and Don Leonard, Olathe, KS., and one granddaughter Shiloh Harrison. Barbara was preceded in death by her husband, and one brother Greg Weishaar.
