Sloane Camila Gibson, daughter of Colby and Marlyn Gibson, passed away a short time after she was born in the loving arms of her mom and dad on Sunday, December 3, 2023 at St. Luke's North Hospital. Sloane was preceded in death by uncle, Carlos E. Gordillo. Survivors include: her parents; Colby and Marlyn Gibson, Kansas City, MO, grandparents; Chuck (Amy) Gibson, of St. Charles, MO. Tammy (Randall) Smith of Stanberry, MO, Carlos R. and Marlyn D. Gordillo of Kansas City, MO, great-grandparents; Eddie and Annie Gibson, Lidia Ortiz Orellana, and Don and Mary Dysart, aunts and uncles; Ashley (Aron) Long, and their daughter Vaida, Dorothy (Thomas) Gallardo, and their children Melody and Thomas, Robert (Tessa) Gordillo, and their children Ruby and Cruz, Estuardo (Marie) Gordillo, and their children Amelia and Finnegan, Edwin (Hayley) Gordillo and their children Ellis, Maya, Samuel, and Benny. The family will receive friends from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM on Friday at the Rupp Funeral Home in St. Joseph, MO. Funeral services and public live stream; 10:00 am, Saturday, December 9, 2023 at the Rupp Funeral Home. The Interment will be at the cemetery in King City, MO.
