Sage Jaden Pankau, 22, of Amazonia, MO passed away May 17, 2025. She was born in St. Joseph on March 12, 2003 to Tyrone Pankau and Tammy Graham.
Sage loved her family, friends, and her three beloved pets. She enjoyed traveling, collecting seashells, and swimming in the ocean. She loved walking her dogs in various parks, mushroom hunting, fishing, camping, and anything to do with animals and nature. Sage enjoyed mud racing, tractor pulls, bowling, and her newfound love of sewing. She was beginning a career as a paraprofessional and enjoyed teaching and spending time with Ella Walker, who sparked her interest in her newfound career. She was planning to start at a school district as a paraprofessional in the fall. While building a career, she spent time chauffeuring her grandma, Carolyn, wherever she needed to go. Most of all, Sage cherished doing all of these activities alongside her boyfriend, Ryan.
Survivors include her father, Tyrone Pankau of Hopkins, MO; mother, Tammy Graham, of Amazonia, MO; brother, Kade (Emma) Pankau of Maitland, MO; paternal grandmother, JoAnna Pankau of Pickering, MO; maternal grandmother, Carolyn Taylor of Savannah, MO; maternal grandfather, Ed (Mary) Graham of Cameron, MO; half-sister, Shayna Pankau of Conception Junction, MO; her boyfriend, Ryan Walker of Cosby, MO; and her pets, Winston, Violet, and Tuk; and numerous family and friends.
She is preceded in death by her paternal grandfather, Donald Pankau of Pickering, MO.
Visitation and family receiving hours will be Wednesday, 5:00pm-7:00pm May 21, 2025 at Breit-Hawkins Funeral Home in Savannah, MO. Funeral services will be Thursday, 10:00am May 22, 2025 at Breit Hawkins Funeral Home. Burial will follow the funeral services at Bennett Lane Cemetery.
