Adrath Mae Thomason, 88, of Kansas City, MO passed away on September 24, 2023. Adrath was born on April 23, 1935 in Dunnegan, MO to Adrath Ronald and Eula Mae (Johnson) Thomason.
She attended Liberty High School Later she Married Rolland Lee Thomason in Liberty, Missouri on May, 8, 1953.Adrath was a night phone operator for REA, She was a Cook For Platte County middle and high school Cafeteria. She also worked as a surgical prep room attendant at the hospital. She also was a foster Parent. She enjoyed gardening and taking care of her grandchildren and great grandchildren.
She was proceeded in death by her parents, her husband, and a sister: Anne Barbee, and sons: Randall Thomason, Dwaine Thomason.
Adrath is survived by brothers: Ronald Baker (Carol), Zane Baker (Vicki), Gene Baker, her children; Kathy Byrd, Russell Thomason, and Rodney Thomason (Denise) and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Visitation will be held from 10a.m.-11a.m. and service at 11am, Monday, October 2, 2023, at Rollins Funeral Home in Platte City, MO. Donations in lieu of flowers can be made to The Alzheimer Association. Arrangements by Rollins Funeral Home, Platte City.
