Patty Basta, 71, St. Joseph, Missouri, passed away Thursday, December 22, 2022.
She was born August 9, 1951, to Milton and Elizabeth (Hickok) Duke in St. Joseph, Missouri.
Patty married Ronald R. “Ron” Basta Sr. on October 2, 1971, and they were married for 44 years.
Her favorite hobbies were sewing, gardening, and cooking. She also enjoyed spending time with her granddaughters.
She was preceded in death by her husband; sons, Ronnie and Joey Basta; parents; and sister, Beverly Bastel.
Survivors include her son, Tim Basta; granddaughters, Seine and Libertie Basta; siblings, James Duke, Kathy Maxwell, Betty Duke, Robert Duke, Tom Duke, Nancy Duke, and Carol Duke; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
Farewell Services and Public Livestream 1:00 P.M. Saturday, January 14, 2023, Meierhoffer Funeral Home & Crematory. Inurnment Whispering Pines Cremation Garden at St. Joseph Memorial Park. The family will gather with friends one hour prior to the service at Meierhoffer Funeral Home & Crematory.
