BUCHANAN COUNTY —One person was injured in an accident just before 8:30p.m. Sunday in Buchanan County.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol reported a 2005 Kawasaki Main street driven by Walter G. Stagner, 41, St. Joseph, was westbound on the ramp from northbound Interstate 229 to westbound Mo 752 one half mile east of St. Joseph.
The driver failed to negotiate a curve. The motorcycle traveled off the north side of the road, struck a guardrail, overturned and the driver was ejected.
Buchanan County EMS transported Stagner to Mosaic Life Care. He was not wearing a helmet, according to the MSHP.
