Peggy Ann Jackson, age 77, went home to be with the Lord on August 29, 2025. She was born February 3, 1948, in St. Joseph, Missouri to Howard and Dolores Jean (Mauzey) Hamann.
Peggy married the love of her life, Donnie Jackson, in 1966. Their marriage was a beautiful example of devotion and partnership. They raised two daughters and built a lifetime of memories over 58 wonderful years together until Donnie’s passing in 2024.
Peggy’s greatest joy and love was her family. She was a devoted mother, grandmother and great-grandmother who cherished every moment she spent with them. She was a faithful member of Pleasant Grove United Methodist Church. She loved playing Bingo with her friends laughing and creating lasting memories. She enjoyed traveling with her church group “On the Road Again” and when she was at home you could find her playing Farmville on her computer.
She was welcomed into heaven by her parents; beloved husband, Donnie; two sisters, Dianne Tankard and Andrea Ledbetter; infant brother, Duane; and son-in-law, Ernie.
Survivors include her two daughters, Marlene (Clifton) Klepees and Angie Winslow; four grandchildren, Paul (Margie), Kyle (Caela), Emily (Duke), and Erin (Rene); eight great-grandchildren; and numerous other family and friends.
Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m. Saturday, September 6, 2025, at Turner Family Funeral Home of Stewartsville, Missouri. Private family inurnment will be held at a later date. Visitation one hour prior to Funeral services.
In honor of Peggy, memorial contributions may be made to the “Donnie & Peggy Jackson Memorial Fund” for youth church camp scholarships.
