BUCHANAN COUNTY —One person was injured in an accident just before 10:30p.m. Tuesday in Buchanan County.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol reported a 2004 Honda CRV driven by a 24-year-old Kansas City, Missouri, woman was northbound on Interstate 29 in the St. Joseph City limits. The SUV rear-ended a 2022 Kenworth semi driven by an 80-year-old Cheyenne, Wyoming man who was slowing for stopped traffic ahead.
Buchanan County EMS transported the SUV driver to Mosaic Life Care. The semi driver was not injured. The SUV driver was not wearing a seat belt, according to the MSHP. The Patrol no longer releases names of accident victims.
