Robert “Bob” Haskell, age 84, passed away on September 6, 2025, surrounded by his loving family. He was born October 30, 1940, in St. Joseph, Missouri to Eldon and Clarbel (Howard) Haskell.

On April 19, 1964, Bob married the love of his life, Linda Thornton, at the Clarksdale United Methodist Church. Together they built a beautiful life filled with love, laughter, and devotion. They raised two sons and spent over 61 years side by side, creating countless cherished memories.

Bob dedicated much of his life to hard work as a heavy equipment operator for a commercial construction company, where he also served as superintendent.

He loved the outdoors – whether he was fishing, hunting, pitching horseshoes, or riding his motorcycle down country roads. Bob was an avid golfer who found joy on the course, especially when sharing a round with friends or family and creating lasting memories together. 

He is preceded in death by his parents and sister, Joanne Johnson.

Survivors include his wife, Linda; sons, Brian (Marlene) and Tim (Stacy); three grandchildren, Shelby (Kaden) Barnes, Tyler (Gracey Shepard), and Jordyn Haskell; two great-grandchildren, Bennett and Charlie; and numerous other family and friends.

Family and friends are invited to celebrate Bob’s life on Thursday, September 11, from 6:00 ~ 8:00 pm. at Turner Family Funeral Home in Maysville.

Memorial contributions may be made in Bob’s honor to:  Maysville United Methodist Church or Leukemia & Lymphoma Society.
