CLINTON COUNTY—One person died in an accident just after 2p.m. Thursday in Clinton County.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol reported a 2014 Harley Davidson motorcycle driven by Stephen D. Doby, 50, Crowley, Texas, was southbound on Interstate 35 just south of Holt.
The motorcycle rear-ended a trailer of a 2013 Ford F150 driven by John R. Ferstl, 54, Oakdale, Minnesota, who was stopped in construction zone traffic.
Doby was pronounced dead at the scene and was transported to Frontier Forensics. Ferstl was not injured. Doby was wearing a helmet, according to the MSHP.
