St. Joseph’s Saint Patrick’s Day Parade has been moved.
The Ancient Order of Hibernians has postponed the parade from tomorrow to next Saturday, the 19th.
The Hibernians made the decision after reviewing the weather forecast.
In a news release, the Hibernians stated, “After a review of the weather forecast, we felt that in the best interest of public safety, and rather than risk of putting young children in harm’s way, postponing the parade one week is our most prudent option.”
The National Weather Service forecast a high tomorrow of only 34 with wind chills dipping down to minus-2 to eight degrees.
The re-scheduled parade will begin at noon on March 19th.
