GENTRY COUNTY —Two people were injured in an accident just after 8a.m. Tuesday in Gentry County.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol reported a 2006 Chevy Silverado driven by Bryson W. Schellhorn, 18, Guilford, was eastbound on Route Z six miles east of King City.
The pickup and its towed unit traveled into the westbound lane into the path of a 2018 Freightliner semi driven by Douglas W. Clibon, 62, Helena, Montana.
The semi struck the left rear axle of the pickup's towed unit. After impact the semi traveled off the south side of the road, struck a small embankment and overturned.
Grand River EMS transported both drivers to Mosaic in St. Joseph. Both were properly restrained, according to the MSHP.
