BROWN COUNTY—One person was injured in an accident just before 11:30a.m. Friday in Brown County.
The Kansas Highway Patrol reported a 1963 GMC passenger vehicle driven bypicer, James Leroy Spicer, 41, Hiawatha, was northbound on Racoon Road at U.S> 73.
The driver failed to yield and entered the intersection. A 1995 International 9400 driven by Rettele, Benjamin Alan Rettele, 40, Fairview, struck the GMC.
EMS transported Spicer to the Hiawatha Hospital. Rettele was not injured. Spicer was not wearing a seat belt, according to the KHP.
