ATCHISON COUNTY—One person was injured in an accident just after 5:30a.m. Monday in Atchison County.
A semi tractor trailer driven by John Hefty, 58, Valley Falls, and a Ford Freestyle utility vehicle driven by Randall Adams, 51, Atchison, were eastbound in the 800 Block of U.S. 59 in Atchison when a collision occurred, according to Police Chief Mike Wilson.
EMS transported Adams to Amberwell for examination. Police released no additional details early Monday.
