Jacob Michael Fleming 31, of St Joseph, Missouri, passed away Sunday, August 11, 2024 in St. Joseph. He was born March 28, 1993 in St. Joseph, son of Susan (Montgomery) and Ronald Fleming.
Jacob attended Benton High School. On January 17, 2020, he married Tracy (Ledford) Ellington in St. Joseph. Jacob worked as a Truck Driver, which he loved doing. He also enjoyed working with his hands, especially on cars and around the house. He was proud of his cooking abilities. Some of his best times were spent riding 4-wheelers with his kids, shooting guns, blowing stuff up, and he always looking for a good deal.
Jacob was preceded in death by paternal grandfather, Ron D. Fleming.
Survivors include: wife, Tracy Ellington-Fleming of St. Joseph, his parents, step-daughters, Tamera and Emma Ellington, son, Jacob Fleming II, daughter, Azalea Fleming, siblings, Jason (Laura) Johnson, Crystal O'Dell, Ronnie (Amber) Fleming, Emmaleigh Fleming, and Katelynn Fleming, all of St. Joseph, paternal grandparents, Edie & Bob Lowry of Kansas City, MO, mother & father in-law, Janice & Tom Ledford of Excelsior Springs, MO, and numerous nieces and nephews.
Mr. Fleming has been cremated under the care of Rupp Funeral Home. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
