The St. Joseph School District updated its reentry plan, moving the start date for students to August 31st and changing its policy to require masks.

The district says pushing the start date allows for more time for the training of staff for remote learning, for buildings to develop and train on reentry guidelines and procedures and for other preparations.

The district says due to feedback from parents, guardians, and students, the district will be requiring masks or face coverings for all staff, students, visitors, and vendors when in a district facility or using district transportation.
