Both Missouri Western State University in St. Joseph and Northwest Missouri State University in Maryville have cancelled on-campus classes for Monday, due to the expected bitter winter weather.

MWSU says online classes should be held as scheduled. In-person classes may be conducted in a virtual environment at the instructor's discretion.

The Maryville campus of NWMSU is closed today and tomorrow with the Northwest-Kansas City campus in Gladstone closed tomorrow. Only the dorms and dining halls will be open on the Maryville campus.

The St. Joseph Public School District is off Monday for President’s Day.
