Missouri's congressional map will be soon be back in the spotlight. The Missouri Supreme Court is scheduled to hear arguments Wednesday in three election-related cases, including two involving the state's new congressional map.
The cases reached the high court after a Cole County judge blocked a referendum effort that sought to put the map before Missouri voters. The one case focuses on a blocked referendum effort seeking a statewide vote on the map, while another involves disputed petition signatures.
Justices will also consider a separate challenge involving a proposed constitutional amendment affecting the Missouri Legislature.
