Mary Ann Culey, of Independence, MO, passed away Thursday, June 29, 2023, at the Medicalodge of Atchison, KS.
Memorial service will be 11:00 AM, Saturday, July 8, 2023, at the Becker-Dyer-Stanton Funeral Home, with Rev. Marty Reed officiating. Memorials are suggested to the Dementia Society of America and may be sent in care of the funeral home. Condolences may be left at www.beckerdyer.com.
Mary was born October 3, 1944 in Frontenac, KS the daughter of Earl and Sylvia (Harmon) Crabtree. She was a Registered Nurse and served mostly at St. Luke’s Hospital and Menorah Medical Center. Mary was very family oriented and loved spending time with her kids and grandkids. She enjoyed reading, watching tv, and baking. She was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church.
Mary married Harold Culey in 1972, he survives of the home. She is also survived by two daughters, Julie and Jeff Welch, Cummings, KS, Melissa and Matt Schuetz, Liberty, MO, three brothers, Renie Rodabaugh, Dallas (Christine) Crabtree, and Jerry Crabtree, seven grandchildren, Travis Ruff, Jessica Weaver, Kayla Arnold, Kylee Arnold, Karsyn Arnold, Owen Schuetz, Wesley Schuetz, four great grandchildren, six step grandchildren and six step great grandchildren.
She was preceded by her parents, a brother Roy Rodabaugh, and a sister-in-law Vicki Crabtree.
