Linda Kay Hill, 80, of Smithville, MO passed away July 28, 2025.
She was born on June 24, 1945, to Oliver and Marion (Rule) Boyd in Smithville, MO where she grew up and graduated from Smithville High School.
On August 21, 1972, she was united in marriage Sherman Lee Hill in Miami, Oklahoma. After their marriage they lived in Smithville where they made their home. Sherman passed away on October 13, 2013.
Linda was an active member of the Smithville Community and volunteered for several organizations. She enjoyed reading, baking and most of all she loved spending time with her friends and family, especially her grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband Sherman Hill; her parents Oliver and Marion Boyd.
Linda is survived by her children Shea Hill and Damon Hill; two grandchildren Lauren Ashley and Brody Lee; her sister Sandra Wakeman; other relatives and many friends.
Graveside Service: 10:00 a.m. at Community of Smithville Memorial Cemetery, Smithville, MO. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the American Heart Association.
