Carolyn Kay Lindsey, age 83, passed away, and went to be with her Lord, after a struggle with cancer on March 20, 2025, in Hanover, VA. surrounded by family. She leaves behind many loved and cherished friends and family members.
Carolyn was born February 23, 1942, to the late Noel Simpson and Margaret Brightwell in Platte County MO. She attended Park Hill high school where she met the love of her life Robert Lindsey. Carolyn is survived by her three children Rene’ White (Tom), Ron Lindsey (Wendy), Robert Lindsey, four grandchildren, one great granddaughter and one brother Randy Simpson.
In addition to her parents, Carolyn is preceded in death by her husband of 56 years, Robert and two sisters Judy Lamar and Rhonda Mallonee.
A graveside memorial service will be held on Saturday, April 26th at 10:00 AM, at Platte City Cemetery, 101 N 4 St, Platte City, Missouri 64079.
