St. Joseph Health Department reports three new deaths Wednesday

The City of St. Joseph Health Department is reporting three new COVID-19 related deaths Wednesday, bringing the total number of deaths in Buchanan County to 124.

The three new deaths were all females with underlying health conditions - two in their 80’s and one in her 90’s.

The Department also reports 58 new cases of COVID-19 in Buchanan County Wednesday, bringing the county’s total to 7,977. The number hospitalized stands at 58 - down four since Tuesday.

Mosaic Life Care reports it is treating 64 COVID-19 patients in its system; 58 in St. Joseph, five in Maryville, and one in Albany.

Mosaic has now tested 59,103 area residents with 7,547 testing positive. Mosaic is awaiting results from 161 tests.

Andrew County reports 17 new cases of COVID-19, bringing its total to 1,519. Andrew County has recorded 15 deaths.

Doniphan County, Kansas reports 656 cases.

Missouri reports 373,580 total cases, resulting in 5,255 deaths.

Kansas reports 204,600 total cases and 2,448 deaths.
