Maryville teen hospitalized after car strikes bridge rail

NODAWAY COUNTY—A Missouri teen was injured in an accident just before 2p.m. Thursday in Nodaway County.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol reported a 2014 Ford Focus driven by Erin M. Randle, 18, Maryville, was eastbound on U.S. 71 just east of Hawk Road northwest of Maryville.

The car traveled off the right side of the road and struck a bridge rail. Nodaway County ambulance transported Randle to Mosaic in Maryville. She was properly restrained at the time of the accident, according to the MSHP.
