Kathleen Marguerite Rydholm, born January 29, 1952, beloved wife of Jon Manley Rydholm (September 17, 1948-Wednesday, April 21, 2021,) beloved mother of John Michel Rydholm & his wife Dyan Matteson, loving grandmother of Jon Merton, Eleanor Josephine, & Francis Xavier, passed away Wednesday, December 10, 2025, following a brief illness.
Jon & Kathleen were married for 44 years. Kathleen helped Jon convert to the Catholic Faith, & during his life, Jon developed a strong devotion to the Blessed Virgin Mary. Kathleen was a staunch supporter & worker for the Catholic Church's Regina Coeli House/SSPX.
Despite losing her husband to cancer, Kathleen saw the birth of her three grandchildren & two of their First Holy Communions and Confirmation. Kathleen had a very loving, charitable spirit.
Kathleen was preceded in death by her parents, Frank J. Ramirez & Pauline Garrity, brother Richard Ramirez, & sister Maria Anne Sutton.
Kathleen's family members include her sisters Dolores & Chris Zappella, Maria & James Wagner, brother David Ramirez & Wendy Ramirez, as well as many nephews & nieces. Requiescat in pace.
Services will be held Thursday, December 18, 2025 at the St. Vincent DePaul Catholic Church. Visitation from 10-11am with a mass at 11am followed by burial at the Our Lady of Peace Catholic Cemetery in St. Mary’s, Kansas at 3:30pm. Arrangements By: Vaughn Funeral Home, Weston, MO.
