ATCHISON COUNTY, MO. —One person was injured in an accident just before 8:30p.m. Sunday in Atchison County.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol reported a 1995 Toyota Tacoma driven by Kolten D. Lekey, 19, Maitland, was southbound on Highway HH in Atchison ten miles east of Fairfax.
The pickup struck the drivers side of a 2015 Peterbilt semi driven by Kyland W. White, 30, Fairfax, who was pulling onto the highway from a private drive.
A private vehicle transported Lekey to Fairfax Hospital. White was not injured. Lekey was not wearing a seat belt, according to the MSHP.
