NODAWAY COUNTY —A Missouri man was injured in an accident just after 9a.m. Monday in Nodaway County.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol reported a 2004 Ford Explorer driven by 85-year-old Charles I. Hamilton of Barnard, was northbound on U.S. 71 five miles south of Maryville.
The SUV traveled off the east side of the road and struck an embankment. Nodaway County EMS transported Hamilton to Mosaic in Maryville. He was not wearing a seat belt, according to the MSHP.
