JoAnn (Keller) Dunn, 85, of Highland, Kansas passed away Monday, June 30, 2025, at Two Timbers, Highland, Kansas.

JoAnn was born on May 4, 1940, on a farm outside of Troy, Kansas to Howard and Margaret (Buch) Keller.

She graduated from Troy High School, and was a member of the Community of Christ Church, Fanning, Kansas. She loved to go to church! She was a member of the Doniphan County Historical Society and the wonderful Dozen & Half Club for 64 years. She loved living in a small town community. She loved her home in Highland! She enjoyed cooking and making the holidays special. She loved being with her family and her family will love her forever!

JoAnn married Charles A. Dunn Jr. on March 12, 1961, in Fanning, Kansas. They had many happy years. Charles preceded her in death on December 6, 1988, leaving JoAnn widowed at the age 48. Her children were so proud of their mom in managing her home alone. She handled the shock of suddenly losing her husband and devoted her life to her family. She loved helping Tammy and Jack and Joe and Jenny with their kids. She loved her grandchildren so very much! She was a successful role model of LOVE! Her children admired and loved their mom for being the best mom, grandma and great grandma and especially for being a wonderful wife ALWAYS to their dad. Charles and JoAnn with Sam and Barb had one of the longest family-owned businesses in Highland for over 80 years, the Dunn Oil Company.

She was preceded in death by her husband, grandmothers, Bessie and Millie, parents, brothers, Mikel, Tom, Bill, Paul, Bob and Howard. Brothers-in-law, Furman, Lloyd and Sam. Sisters-in-law, Barb, Rena, Pam, Alice and Debi.

Survivors include children, Pamela Dunn, Tamela Cross (Jack) and Joe Dunn (Jenny).

Grandchildren, Kyle Cross (Stephanie), Kayla Johnson (Layne), Kellen Cross (Annie), Chaz Dunn (Elizabeth) Libby Dean (Vince) and Sammy Joe Dunn.

Great grandchildren, Connor, Nolan, Luella, Luke, Kamren and Archie Joe.

Siblings, Debbie Hunsaker (Bill), Shirley McKnight, John Keller and sister-in-law, Dorothy Keller.

Numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Funeral Service: 11:00 A.M. Thursday, July 3, 2025.

At the Community of Christ Church, Fanning, Kansas.

Visitation will be held from 9:30 to 10:30 A.M.  Thursday morning at the church.

Friends may call after 9 A.M. Wednesday at the Harman-Rohde Funeral Home in Troy, Kansas.

Private Burial at the Highland Cemetery, Highland, Kansas.

Memorials: Community of Christ Church or the Highland Cemetery Fund.
